Meet Our Principal
A Message from Mr. Cooper
Dear Pike Families, students, and proud community members,
My name is Mr. Randy Cooper, I am excited to welcome you to the 2024-25 school year as the principal at Pike Preparatory Academy here in MSD Pike Township. I am humbled and honored to have the opportunity for this role and to continue to serve our district, families, and students. This is my fifteenth year in the district. My experience has mostly been at Pike High School as a math teacher, department chair, and administrator, including most recently at the Pike Freshman Center.
Pike Preparatory Academy is a special place and serves our district in the critical role of providing a smaller environment and accelerated curriculum for our seniors to ultimately finish their graduation requirements and earn their High School diploma. That mission continues with the 2024-25 school year and will always be our first goal. We are able to accomplish this goal through structured educational experiences that directly facilitate learning for all students. Our dedicated teachers, guidance counselor, administrative professional, along with myself are committed to support the growth of our students in any situation or obstacle.
The Student/Parent Handbook provides an overview of our school’s policies and procedures. If you have any questions about our expectations, please feel free to contact me or any of our outstanding staff. We feel strongly that you as well as our students are fully informed and communicated with at all times throughout the school year. We will always ensure a safe and supportive learning environment each day.
I want to personally thank each and every parent or guardian for the dedication and sacrifices you have made along the educational journey for our current students here at Pike Preparatory Academy. It is truly a privilege to be a part of the Metropolitan School District of Pike Township community and to provide this outstanding opportunity. Please feel free to call or email if there is anything I can do to support your PPA student this year.
Mr. Randy Cooper
Principal
