Pike Preparatory Academy is a special place and serves our district in the critical role of providing a smaller environment and accelerated curriculum for our seniors to ultimately finish their graduation requirements and earn their High School diploma. That mission continues for the upcoming school year and will always be our first goal. We are able to accomplish this goal through structured educational experiences that directly facilitate learning for all students. Our dedicated teachers, guidance counselor, administrative professional, and staff are committed to supporting the growth of our students in any situation or obstacle.
We offer an accelerated academic program which meets the individual needs of each student and allows them to earn credits quarterly. Each class has a 15-to-1 student-to-teacher ratio. This small class size allows teachers to serve as a valuable resource for students who need individual attention. We also offer meaningful Empowerment opportunities, such as service-learning, college readiness, and career exploration.
Pike Preparatory Academy is an extension of Pike High School. Therefore, students remain active as Pike High School students, but they take their courses in the alternative setting. All students who meet the graduation requirements earn a Pike High School Diploma and may participate in Pike High School’s Graduation Ceremony at the conclusion of the school year.
